6:00 AM - 7:15 AM Wellness-Masters Swim
The Babson Masters Swim Program is a swim program for adults.  Some people use it for fitness or to have fun, while others use it to train to compete in swim meets or other competitions such as triathlons.  Each practice is guided by a swim coach, and instruction and feedback are offered to participants.

6:30 AM - 7:20 AM Wellness-Beginner/Intermediate Boot Camp

Boot Camp is a 50 minute, two day a week program designed to improve your cardio endurance, build strength and induce weight loss.  The personalized approach to group exercise makes the class fun and motivating in pursuit of results and your personal goals.  Instructor Craig Paris uses a variety of body weight exercises, resistance bands, agility drills, running, and plyometric training to activate multiple muscle groups and burn the maximum amount of calories during class.

This class is appropriate for any Babson employee who is looking to take their workout to the next level.  Please note that class is appropriate for those just beginning as well as those who have participated before.

11:15 AM - 12:00 PM Undergraduate Admission Information Session
Hosted by the admission staff, group information sessions are a great way to learn about Babson. We welcome prospective students and their families to attend a session to learn about Babson’s unique curriculum, student life, and the admission process. 

Information sessions are held in the Lunder Admission Center at Mustard Hall. Parking is available in designated spaces in the Lunder Parking Lot or Knight Parking Lot. When you arrive, please see the receptionist in the admission office for a parking permit. Click here for information on getting to campus.

12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Wellness-Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a gentle exercise for body and mind.  With its roots in Chinese martial arts and traditional Chinese medicine, Tai Chi uses slow and gentle movements to build your balance, strength, flexibility and focus.  No matter your age or physical condition, you can practice Tai Chi.  Scientific studies support the effectiveness of Tai Chi in improving the lives of people with chronic conditions, such as arthritis, diabetes, and osteoporosis.  Most of all, Tai Chi is relaxing and fun.  So come as you are, in comfortable clothes, with flat-soled shoes.  You will learn the basic principles of Tai Chi as well as exercises and a short form you will be able to practice on your own.  The course will be taught by faculty member Carolyn Hotchkiss, who has studied Yang and Sun style Tai Chi for five years, and is certified to teach Tai Chi for Arthritis.

The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Originally created by Alberto “Beto” Perez in Columbia, Zumba® is a Latin inspired dance fitness class that combines interval training sessions with fast and slow rhythms to sculpt and tone your body while burning fat.  Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked.  Zumba® fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in every calorie-burning, body-energizing class.  This class is perfect for all fitness levels and no dance experience is necessary!

So, join Dawn George, certified dance and Zumba instructor, as she leads you through the latest in fitness fun.  What are you waiting for?  Ditch the workout....join the party!
