Island Queen ***RECOMMENDED CHOICE FOR PASSENGERS***
75 Falmouth Heights Road, Falmouth, MA 02540 (508) 548-4800 (no cars)
From Falmouth. Parking is a 5 minute walk. Cost is $15/calendar day and you pay up front. All transactions are CASH ONLY so hit the ATM first. All boats go into Oak Bluffs, so this is the easiest boat to take. Do not follow boat signs as that is a different boat, get directions from website.
220 Ocean St, Hyannis Port MA 02601
From Hyannis. Both high speed and regular ferries. All boats arrive at Oak Bluffs. Convenient to “jitney” commuter train. Second best choice. Again, get directions from website.
From Woods Hole. You will need a car reservation ($150 plus passenger tix) if you want to bring a car. Can go passenger only, but allow an extra 30 minutes for shuttle bus ride and follow signs since parking lots fill up. Convenient to Peter Pan bus, which brings you right to Woods Hole. Boats alternate between Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. If Vineyard Haven take the #13 bus to Oak Bluffs.
From New Bedford. Costs $50 or so round trip and can be choppy. This boat alternates between a Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs arrival so you may have to take a taxi to Oak Bluffs or take the #13 bus to Oak Bluffs.
