6:30 AM - 7:20 AM Wellness-Advanced Core Bootcamp
FACULTY AND STAFF ONLY
ACBC is a 50 minute, two day a week advanced conditioning program that focuses on reaching levels of fitness beyond what a standard Boot Camp will typically yield. Many of the techniques are direct from Kevin Kearns "Burn With Kearns" MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) conditioning program. Instructor Sonny Romano will utilize many of the training techniques used by professional UFC/MMA fighters. The class is a challenge but a lot of fun and as a bonus attendees will learn the basics of defending themselves while they get into tremendous physical condition.

5:00 PM - 6:30 PM How to build a Billion dollar company? The story of Endeca
Hear from Steve Papa, the founder of Endeca  what it takes to start a company and grow it to a billion dollar company that was acquired by Oracle in 2011. Steve Papa is an active founder, investor, board member and mentor sponsoring the creation of a wide variety of tech companies in software, mobile, and telecommunications. Steve founded the enterprise software company Endeca in 1999 and was its CEO until it was Oracle's 6th largest acquisition ever (reported at $1.1 billion on announcement in 2011). Endeca pioneered Guided Navigation, one of the leading search innovations of the decade, and made it an industry standard online. Endeca's solutions today play a key role in the online commerce, enterprise business intelligence and national security markets. Prior to its acquisition, Endeca had achieved $750M in cumulative worldwide revenue and 700 customers, and had built an exceptionally talented team of over 500 headquartered in Cambridge, MA. Endeca was named the fastest growing private company in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal and recognized as one of the winners of the E&Y EOY awards program. Prior to Endeca, Steve was a part of the original MIT $50K team creating Akamai, a member of the early team at Inktomi in charge of creating the company’s infrastructure caching business, and spent time at Teradata and also at Venrock, the Rockefeller Family's venture capital arm. Steve has an MBA from Harvard and a BS in Operations Research and Economics from Princeton University. Steve is as an advisory board member for the Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship at Harvard. -Babson Business Analytics Club
