Event Description:
Mindful eating has the power to transform people’s relationship to food and eating, to help improve overall health, body image, relationships and self-esteem. Mindful eating draws upon the use of mindfulness meditation, which helps focus our attention and awareness on the present moment, and in turn helps us disengage from habitual, unsatisfying and unhelpful habits and behaviors.  This seminar will teach participants to become a mindful eater and overcome the unhealthy habits that lead to overeating and weight gain. Please join us in Nichols 170.
