May graduates must complete an Application for Degree. The application for degree allows students to enter the name they want printed on their diploma, the phonetic spelling of their name, and their anticipated graduation date. The Application for Degree is located in Portal under the Smart Tools, in the Academic section. If the Smart Tools section does not appear on Portal, drill down on Add Content located in the upper left corner of Portal (next to where it says Hello, Name!). Click Add under the Smart Tools section. If the Smart Tools section still does not appear, contact Support at 781-239-4357. (This is for graduate Students ONLY!
