Advances in Urban Agriculture and Ag Tech
Start Date: 3/8/2017Start Time: 5:00 PM
End Date: 3/8/2017End Time: 6:30 PM

Event Description:
How to feed a growing population with diminishing resources amid climate change is arguably the most important question of our time. And so it follows that urban agriculture (e.g. vertical farming, rooftop growing, farm-in-a-box) and agriculture technology (e.g. precision agriculture, crop data, seed genetics) are among the most watched areas of the food industry today.

Note: Agriculture innovation touches technology, healthcare, sustainability, city policy/planning, finance and retail. This panel is not merely for those pursuing food business.

Confirmed panelists (check back for updates):
Rose Arruda, Mass Department of Ag Resources
Shawn Cooney, co-founder, Cornerstalk Farms
Brad McNamara, co-founder, Freight Farms
Dan Pullman, Fresh Source Capital

In typical Food Sol fashion, discussion will be audience driven.

This event is free and open to the public, no registration required.
