There's no charge to apply or to participate in the pop-up communications forum. Your organization must meet the following conditions to be considered:
- 501 (c3) nonprofit organization
- < $5 million in budget for FY 2017 
- Reference Form 990, Line 18
- Submit application by 1.25.19
 
Space is limited to 30 nonprofit organizations. All applicants will be notified via email on Monday, February 4, 2019. If selected, you must register your organization's representative by Wednesday, February 20,2019 or your slot will be forfeited.

12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Wellness - Adult Cross Training (A.C.T)
Join Babson’s own Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for a training program which will heighten mental and physical fortitude through flexibility, balance, coordination, conditioning, strength, power and agility drills, exercises and routines.


Please note that anyone participating in any of the Be Well@Babson programs must sign a waiver before beginning any program or activity.  Classes may fill up and are assigned on a first come, first serve basis.  All of the Be Well@Babson programs are limited to Babson staff and faculty only and there are no exceptions that can be made.

12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Wellness - Power Yoga

Power vinyasa yoga builds physical and mental strength and flexibility. Find your mind body connection as you link breath to movement in a fast-paced, energizing class. This class is accessible to most levels of fitness. Prior experience with yoga is recommended but not required.   These classes will be taught by Michele McLaughlin and Tracy Buckley.

Join the Glavin Office and Women Giving Back for tea, snacks, and a celebration of International Women's Day
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)
During tax season, students from Babson College assist families with preparations to help file their taxes three times a week.
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Community Action Program: Barton Road After School Program

The Barton Road Afterschool Program takes place at the Wellesley Housing Authority. A housing authority is section 8 housing, a state or federally funded program aimed to assist low-income families pay for rent. The Afterschool Programs focus on providing mentorship through after school homework help, as well as providing activities that are both safe and fun for the children who live at the Housing Authorities. 

Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-5:30 pm. Babson students will leave campus around 3:15 pm and return around 5:45 pm.

About Grad Impact Hour

Grad Impact Hours (previously called MBA Impact Hours) provide a space for Babson graduate students and alumni in the Boston area to deep dive into issues of importance that will amplify the impact of their careers. They are typically held over light snacks at Space X inside The Lewis Institute (Olin 240-249 suite) from 5 to 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Improv Workshop with Kristen Mazzocchi
Join visiting artist, Kristen Mazzocchi for an introduction to the basic concepts of improvisational acting and explore how these techniques can make you a better leader and presenter.  No prior experience is required.

Kristen Mazzocchi is an experienced arts educator, director and production manager. After graduating from Boston College with a BA in Theatre and Economics, she began her career at The Wang Center for the Performing Arts (now the Boch Center) as an Associate in the Arts Education Department. She went on to work as Production Manager for the Celebrity Series of Boston where she also served as Operations Director of AileyCamp Boston, a summer dance camp for 80 middle school aged students from the Boston Public School system. Kristen’s passion for education inspired her to earn a master’s degree in Arts Education from Harvard University, and then to take a position as the Director of Educational programs for The Celebrity Series of Boston. Kristen is currently a freelance teaching artist, director and production manager working with many schools and arts organizations including New England Conservatory of Music, Improv Asylum, Needham Public Schools and Next Generation Theatre Company. She also serves as Chair of the Needham Cultural Council.
