Anne Hamburger, executive producer of the multimedia show Basetrack Live (page 7), is a cultural entrepreneur and the president of En Garde Arts, a company that creates and produces site-specific theater and multimedia experiences. Earlier in her career, she was executive vice president of Walt Disney Creative Entertainment, where she spearheaded the creative development of all the major stage shows, parades, and daytime and nighttime spectacles for all Disney’s theme parks worldwide.

Please join fellow Babson alumni and their families as they participate in Babson's 2nd Annual Day of Service by helping local communities.  Lend a hand as Babson alumni put all their “bits of good” together to make our world a little better.  

We will be working with Trees Atlanta to assist with planting trees in the park. All ages are welcome to attend for tree planting but volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

T-shirts will be provided and there will be lunch after the event.  Details to follow.

Our Babson Day of Service team in Detroit will be gathering at Gleaners Community Food Bank to sort and pack food from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch at Eastern Market. Families are welcome and lunch and t-shirts will be provided.

Our Babson Day of Service team in New York will be volunteering with City Harvest at the Queensbridge Mobile Market. Located at Riis Settlement, the market provides free fruits and vegetables to Queensbridge and Ravenswood residents and senior citizens. We will volunteer in the market from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. with lunch to follow.

Families are welcome and lunch and t-shirts will be provided.

9:30 AM - 1:30 PM Undergraduate Admission Preview Day
Preview Days are designed for prospective students and their families to experience Babson first-hand. You will learn about our unique, hands-on curriculum, become familiar with our admission process and requirements, hear current students and alumni speak about their Babson experience, tour our beautiful facilities, and have brunch at Trim Dining Hall. ‚ÄčRegistration opens at 9:00 AM, the program begins at 9:30 AM and will end by 1:30 PM.

9:40 AM - 10:30 PM Bridge and Ice Dance--Spring Session (Saturday at 9:40pm)

Bridge: Skaters MUST have passed Delta Level in order to take this class: 50minute class with no practice: Freestyle 1 through 6: class will incorporate Figures, Moves in the Field and Ice Dance Level 1 and 2
Ice Dance: Skaters MUST have passed Alpha Level in order to take this class: 50minute class with no practice: Dance 1 through Dance 6 Level

*Participants are divided based upon skating ability & Age.
*We DO NOT guarantee that siblings and/or friends will be in the same class.
*Please arrive early to allow time to secure skates and find your instructor.
*Helmets are strongly recommended for beginners.

Join alumni, friends and families in Chicago for a Day of Service at the Ronald McDonald House near the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. After a long day or night at the hospital, many families are in need of a home-cooked meal. Volunteers will be cooking and serving brunch for families at the house.

Alumni in Boston will be working with Meals of Hope's Executive Director, Stephen Popper '84, to put together meals for those in need. Volunteers will be rolling up their sleeves, and in two short hours, packing thousands of meals that will be distributed through the Feeding America Food Bank Network. Volunteers will have lots of fun and walk away feeling great about giving back.

Dress Code: Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops allowed). Volunteers may be working in refrigerated areas with produce or meat. Volunteers should wear pants, socks, shoes, and a sweatshirt or warm layer. Philabundance will provide jackets and gloves.
 
Lunch and t-shirts will be provided. Lunch will follow the volunteering.

This years Houston Day of Service will take place at the Houston Food Bank. Volunteers will be working to assist the food bank with operations that may include sorting food or stocking shelves.  All ages are welcome however volunteers 6-15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older at all times.

11:40 PM Learn To Skate--Spring Session (Saturday at 11:40am) (Multi-Day Event)
Learn to Skate (LTS) – Ages 5 and older: 40minute class, 10minute practice following the class: Beginner through Freestyle 3 Level
