Demystifying the College Admission Process
Presented by: Grant M. Gosselin, Vice President of Enrollment and Dean of Admissions


Preparing a child for the college admission process can be an exciting but daunting undertaking. Join Grant M. Gosselin, Babson's Vice President of Enrollment and Dean of Admissions, to gain the skills needed to successfully navigate the college search process. The session will aim to address common myths about the college admission process, provide a roadmap for families to use during the college search, and to learn the nuances of merit scholarships and need-based financial aid. The session is specifically designed for all parents of high-school aged students who will enter the college search process; the content will not be limited to those considering an application to Babson.

Grant Gosselin
Grant M. Gosselin joined Babson College as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission in the mid-1990's.  He left Babson in 1999 to earn his graduate degree and to serve as the Associate Director of Marketing and International Admission at Boston College.  In 2006, he returned to Babson as Dean of Undergraduate Admission, and served in that capacity until 2012 when he was appointed as Vice President of Enrollment and Dean of Admissions.  In this new role, he now oversees all admission activities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Throughout his career, he has been committed to enrolling diverse student populations and returned to Babson, in part, due to the campus-wide commitment to global education.  In total, he has traveled to 32 foreign countries and 35 US states and territories and believes that Babson's diverse community provides students with the wide variety of perspectives needed to prepare its graduates for success an increasingly complex world.

Grant has written articles that have been published in national journals, has presented on admission topics throughout the country and around the world, and is a member of several regional, national, and international professional organizations.
