A keen observer of the world around him, Pat Falco uses a street art graphic drawing style and hand-printed text to reflect with honesty and wit on both social and personal issues. He chooses mis-tinted paints and found objects for his art surfaces, because, as he says, “I’d like not to make more waste than is already here.” Consumer culture, interpersonal relationships, the art world, our current political climate, heartbreak, gentrification, socioeconomic stratification, and fear of failure are a just a few of the themes where he mines incongruities for humor and pathos.

6:30 AM - 7:30 AM Wellness - Beginner/Intermediate Boot Camp
Boot Camp is a 50 minute, two day a week program designed to improve your cardio endurance, build strength and induce weight loss.  The personalized approach to group exercise makes the class fun and motivating in pursuit of results and your personal goals.  Instructor Craig Paris uses a variety of body weight exercises, resistance bands, agility drills, running, and plyometric training to activate multiple muscle groups and burn the maximum amount of calories during class.

9:15 AM - 10:30 AM Telemedicine Innovation and Finance: Opportunities in the US & Abroad
Come hear from and meet Stephen Shaya, the Chief Medical Officer and Managing Director of J&B Medical Supply and his colleagues. Accompanying Stephen are representatives from affiliate healthcare financing organizations RedCrow Equity Crowdfunding founders Brian Smith and Jerry Harrison, and Akkad Capital Partners COO David Ward.

Steve is coming Babson's campus to share the story of his company’s telemedicine pilot venture, Piestus. This program has been implemented in India, Paskistan and parts of Africa. This technology has reached over 77,000 people in remote locations in these regions providing remote medical care at affordable prices. You will also hear about how Steve became involved in healthcare innovation financing and the perspectives of his colleagues on global health financing.

A light breakfast will be provided. Thursday, February 9th, 9:30 -10:30 AM, Design Zone, Olin Hall 125.
