Event Description:

How do we get someone (that we don’t manage) to do something that we want them to do? Most of us have had this challenge, along with the frustration in attempting to make this happen.

Join your Babson colleagues and Professor Allan Cohen, co-author of the book “Influence Without Authority”, to explore effective ways to gain the commitment of others. This multiple meeting, book club experience includes topics such as; assessing situations, relationship building, getting buy-in, communication techniques, dealing with resistance, and finding win-win outcomes.

To make the learning real and relevant, participants will tackle challenging scenarios tied to book content.
