Power vinyasa yoga builds physical and mental strength and flexibility. Find your mind body connection as you link breath to movement in a fast-paced, energizing class. This class is accessible to most levels of fitness. Prior experience with yoga is recommended but not required.

Classes will be taught by Michele McLaughlin during February and April and by Tracy Buckley during January and March.

Join Babson’s own Head Strength and Conditioning Coach  for a training program which will heighten mental and physical fortitude through flexibility, balance, coordination, conditioning, strength, power and agility drills, exercises and routines.

When discussing employee development, most programs focus on handling the underperforming employee. What about everyone else? You may have employees who are performing in their current roles, but still have room to grow; or perhaps employees ready for a new challenge or even a career change. As a manager, you play a key role in all these development situations, and we can help you understand the unique approach to each one. Join us for our next Manager Round Table to learn how you can support the continuous learning goals of all your employees.

3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Community Action Program: Barton Road (Wellesley) Afterschool Program

The Afterschool Programs takes place at the Wellesley, Needham, and Framingham Housing Authorities. A housing authority is section 8 housing, a state or federally funded program aimed to assist low-income families pay for rent. The Afterschool Programs focus on providing mentorship through after school homework help, as well as providing activities that are both safe and fun for the children who live at the Housing Authorities. 

Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-5:30 pm. Babson students will leave campus around 3:15 pm and return around 5:45 pm.

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Community Action Program: Needham Housing Authority Entrepreneurial Leadership Program

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Programs takes place at the Wellesley, Needham, and Framingham Housing Authorities. A housing authority is section 8 housing, a state or federally funded program aimed to assist low-income families pay for rent. The Entrepreneurial Leadership Programs focus on mentoring 7th-9th graders in developing everyday life habits that can lead them to be successful entrepreneurs and to think about entrepreneurship in a new way.

Wednesdays, 4:00-5:30 pm. Babson students will leave campus around 3:45 pm and return around 5:45 pm.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Waterline Reading Series Showcase
Waterline features a fast-paced hour of literary works with readings by Babson College faculty fiction writers, poets, and essayists.
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM ZUMBA
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music dance themes which creates a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system!  The routines feature interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow dance steps. Zumba is a hip swingin', body pumpin', fun way to get a total body workout. No advanced sign-up needed.

The offices of Health Promotion and Faith & Service are joining together to share inspiring stories of hope during the dreary days of winter.

Come and gather with us for some comfort food and a panel of staff/faculty, students, and alumni who will share their personal reflections of hope.
