MAKE YOUR MONEY MATTER

Do you find yourself following news about the ups and downs of the stock market more these days?  What is the Dow Jones Industrial Average anyway, and why should you care?  You may feel like you are supposed to be saving and investing, but don’t know where to start.  This fun, interactive, and FREE workshop will give you the tools you need to preserve and grow your wealth for the future.  It covers banking, including choosing a bank and what accounts to use at a bank.  It also helps you understand the basics of investing – including the differences between stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs – and choosing investments that make sense for you. Bring your enthusiasm and a friend. Come with your questions, and leave with new knowledge and some new friends. We won’t try to sell you anything, we won’t make you sit and listen too much, and we will give you dinner!  Sponsored by the Babson Financial Literacy Project (www.babson.edu/financialliteracy) and open to everyone, this workshop is perfect for young adults (aged 18 to 30-ish) earning a paycheck and living independently (or getting there).

No Babson affiliation or financial knowledge required.  For more information, write to us at BFLP@babson.edu
