12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Wellness - Sweet Dreams

Sweet, elusive sleep. Sleep is a basic necessity of life, as important as air, food and water. It determines if we wake up feeling refreshed, alert and ready for the day or if our jobs, relationships, productivity, health and safety suffer. If you are one of the 74% of Americans who experience sleep problems a few nights a week then this seminar is for you. This seminar will cover general information and myths about sleep as well as how sleep affects your weight, and your overall health and fitness goals. You will leave with practical, healthy sleep tips and relaxation techniques that can be used to get a better night’s sleep, tonight.

Instructor Julianne McLaughlin is a Certified Weight Loss and Nutrition Counselor, a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Personal Trainer, Pilates, and Spin Instructor.  Find out more about Julianne and Whole New U at www.wholenewu.org

Join the Accelerator and Pepper Hamilton as we take a closer look on formation of a company.

Students will be provided with a primer as to the primary considerations in selecting a form of business entity.  This workshop will also review the nuts and bolts of formation documentation for corporations and limited liability companies, and will involve an interactive discussion to help students understand the practical decisions that need to be made and issues to be addressed in forming a business entity.  The workshop will also provide a critical analysis of the principal operative sections of the governing documents for each type of entity, including the certificate of incorporation, bylaws, shareholder agreement and operating agreement, and will provide practical advice to those students with questions about their business entity.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Grad JMCFE Info Session

The project will regard Business model innovation through cloud computing in various IT companies. The first step is in this sense a classical competitor analysis of our client’s IT rival companies. DATEV expects a comparison among German (or generally European market players) and US players in the IT industry. The project will discuss changes in the business models which are derived from cloud computing and its connected topics such as data warehousing and big data management.  The client, DATEV, supports auditors and tax consultants with products and services which are available worldwide: audit, financial statements and reports, consolidation services, digital data analysis and data import/export, tax calculation, personnel and office management, ERP systems as well as international office search.
