All Day First Year Service and Action Program (Multi-Day Event)
The First-Year Service in Action Program engages students in their first year in multiple service opportunities on campus. Opportunities include special events with Community Action Programs, participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk in Boston, and other programs sponsored by the Bernon Center. Students can get involved through their First-Year Seminar class, by contacting their class dean, or by contacting Chris Bourcier at cbourcier@babson.edu or by calling (781) 239-5636.

Start Day BioPharma: Mastering the Business of Science (Multi-Day Event)

For biopharma professionals, adapting to a more business-focused role presents a variety of challenges, especially for individuals with limited formal business training.  Technical expertise is no longer enough.  To succeed in an environment that continues to experience dramatic shifts, increased research and development costs, and new competitors, biopharma professionals must build and develop the decision-making and leadership skills that drive business.  In a dynamic and interactive setting, Biopharma: Mastering the Business of Science provides participants with the tools and skills needed to work and lead more effectively, now and in the future.

12:00 AM Education Abroad Photo Contest Voting

In celebration of International Education Week, faculty, staff, and students have entered their photos from their experiences a campus-wide Education Abroad Photo Contest.  .  

All members of the Babson Community has the opportunity to select one photo, which will win the View's Choice Award.

Voting is from October 28 - November 1.  Go to www.babson.edu/iew to vote.

The winners will be announced during International Education Week (November 4-8).  

7:00 AM - 8:30 PM Delta Sigma Pi Livestream with Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg
The event  will be a live discussion with Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook. Sheryl will share her passion for helping the next generation of female leaders lean in and will be answer the participants on Google Hangout's questions. Students will learn about our Lean In on Campus program and receive all the information you need to get involved. The event objective is to close the leadership gap and change the trajectory for women around the world. Refreshments will be provided

Pre-registration is not required. Tours depart from the Lunder Admission Center at Mustard Hall. Parking is available in designated spaces in the Lunder Parking Lot or Knight Parking Lot. Delta Sigma Pi will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts at the Reynolds Cart from 11AM to 4PM, October 28th to 31st via pre-sales. Cash only. Pick-up will be on Nov 4th from 11AM to 4PM. All proceeds will fund the professional events held by Delta Sigma Pi.
