A student-guided tour is a wonderful way to see Babson’s extensive facilities (including a residence hall, classroom, and dining hall), talk with current students, and see our community in action. 

Pre-registration is not required. Tours depart from the Lunder Admission Center at Mustard Hall. Parking is available in designated spaces in the Lunder Parking Lot or Knight Parking Lot. When you arrive, please see the receptionist in the admission office for a parking permit. Click here for information on getting to campus.

Hosted by the admission staff, group information sessions are a great way to learn about Babson. We welcome prospective students and their families to attend a session to learn about Babson’s unique curriculum, student life, and the admission process.

Join Babson’s own Head Strength and Conditioning Coach  for a training program which will heighten mental and physical fortitude through flexibility, balance, coordination, conditioning, strength, power and agility drills, exercises and routines.

12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Wellness - Power Yoga
Power vinyasa yoga builds physical and mental strength and flexibility. Find your mind body connection as you link breath to movement in a fast-paced, energizing class taught by Lindsey Athanasiou, National Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200). This class is accessible to most levels of fitness. Prior experience with yoga is recommended but not required.

12:15 PM - 1:00 PM Wellness - Runners Training Series
Would you like to take your running to the next level?

This 10-week training series is designed specifically to meet the needs of runners. The goal of the series is to enhance each participant’s running efficiency, strength and speed. All levels of runners are welcome. Each participant will work from their individual fitness level. The workouts will be tailored to meet the needs and fitness abilities of the participants. 

Workouts will begin with a short warm-up run, and then will vary in content. Examples of workout content includes: speed work, hill work and strength and endurance exercises specific to a runner’s needs.

A Comprehensive after school activities program that includes reading, games and crafts.
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Needham Housing Authority Entrepreneurship Program
Babson volunteers will teach middle school children of the housing authority how to organize and run a business.
3:30 PM - 6:00 PM Wellesley Housing Authority After school Programs
A comprehensive after school activities program that includes reading games and crafts.
4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wellness - CPR Certification

Learn how to perform CPR for adults, children, and infants, to include the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The lesson will also include how to perform abdominal thrusts on choking victims. After completion of the lesson, all students will be certified for 2 years by the American Heart Association. Presented by Public Safety’s Sergeant Anthony Marks

In this session, Len Green will deliver a value-packed session that will provide practical and actionable “how to” solutions to many of the challenges facing entrepreneurs in the real world of venture creation and growth. The session will feature case discussion, interactive exercises and guest entrepreneurs. Come experience Len’s unique, no nonsense style of teaching entrepreneurship in a fun and exciting event that’s sure to change the way you think about starting and growing your venture.

About Len Green
During his 15 years teaching at Babson, Len Green’s highly rated class, The Ultimate Entrepreneur, was a student favorite. Len is now an Entrepreneur in Residence with the Blank Center. Len has been an advisor/founder of companies like SoBe Beverages, The Green Group, and Blue Buffalo dog and cat food.
He is also the author of a new book, The Entrepreneur’s Playbook, which includes over 100 tips, strategies and techniques of successful companies.

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM VINYASA YOGA exercise class

In Vinyasa-style yoga, “Ujjayi” breath is connected to movement which creates a flow of poses that encourages relaxation in the body as well as awareness of the mind. This class will shift your focus from everyday life to present physical sensations. The poses will strengthen, detoxify, and open the body, leaving you feeling toned, invigorated, and inspired. Bring a bath towel if possible!

Reginald Dwayne Betts knows the hazards of juvenile incarceration firsthand. Arrested at age sixteen, Betts served eight years in an adult prison, coming of age behind bars. A poet, writer, and attorney, Betts will speak about the years he spent in prison and about the current state of the criminal justice system - including sentencing juveniles as adults, and the collateral consequences of a criminal record - while presenting promising ideas for reform. 

Join the Alumni and Friends Network and fellow Natalie Taylor scholars for a pre-performance reception before Betts takes the stage.  We will have light refreshments and beverages.
