We invest so much time and energy securing our degrees. Yet nobody teaches us how to walk into vast room of professionals and forget meaningful relationships. Join expert speakers Kim Miles and Victoria Kohlasch as they teach how to be memorable before uttering your first words of introduction. Join us for this 90-minute workshop that will help you feel confident in any networking environment. (This is a competency event for CWEL Scholars in the category of Strategic Networking.)

10:00 AM - 3:30 PM Cradles to Crayons- Brighton
volunteers will be sorting and putting together gift bags of clothes, toys and books for children in the great Boston area.
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore
This agency consists of a food pantry, a clothing closet, a furniture bank and housing for homeless families.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of task from yard work to painting to repair work on shelters.
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Undergraduate Admission Tour
A student-guided tour is a wonderful way to see Babson’s extensive facilities (including a residence hall, classroom, and dining hall), talk with current students, and see our community in action. 

Pre-registration is not required. Tours depart from the Lunder Admission Center at Mustard Hall. Parking is available in designated spaces in the Lunder Parking Lot or Knight Parking Lot. When you arrive, please see the receptionist in the admission office for a parking permit. Click here for information on getting to campus.

Join us for this week's Good Business Friday conversation on "Purpose, Profits, and People", featuring Craig Bida, Senior Fellow in Social Innovation at The Lewis Institute.

This weekly meditation class will be led by Babson’s Meditation Instructor, Chris Scheller, who will guide participants through a variety of accessible, secular meditation techniques adapted from the Buddhist tradition. These simple and direct practices cultivate relaxation, mindfulness, and basic wellbeing. By relaxing tension and opening to our sensory experience through these techniques, participants will learn new means of working with stress, difficult emotions, physical discomfort, and the challenges we encounter in our lives. This class is suitable for any experience level.

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM Arts & Business Conversation: Sam Aquillano
Sam Aquillano M’14 is Founder and Executive Director of Design Museum Foundation, a national network of local design museums operating in Boston, Portland, and San Francisco. Because design touches people in all parts of their lives, the museum seeks to educate the world about design by turning entire cities into locally focused, nomadic design museums. Before receiving his MBA from Babson, Sam earned a BFA in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and went on to design consumer electronics at Bose Corporation. In 2013, Sam and his team were named one of BostInno’s “50 on Fire.”
