12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Wellness - Adult Cross Training (A.C.T)
Join Babson’s own Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for a training program which will heighten mental and physical fortitude through flexibility, balance, coordination, conditioning, strength, power and agility drills, exercises and routines.


Please note that anyone participating in any of the Be Well@Babson programs must sign a waiver before beginning any program or activity.  Classes may fill up and are assigned on a first come, first serve basis.  All of the Be Well@Babson programs are limited to Babson staff and faculty only and there are no exceptions that can be made.

12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Wellness - Power Yoga

Power vinyasa yoga builds physical and mental strength and flexibility. Find your mind body connection as you link breath to movement in a fast-paced, energizing class. This class is accessible to most levels of fitness. Prior experience with yoga is recommended but not required.   These classes will be taught by Michele McLaughlin and Tracy Buckley.

Did you know that approximately 80% of jobs are never advertised or posted? How can you discover these jobs? Come learn how to network your way into your next job - both in-person and using LinkedIn.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to….
• Define their job objective
• Define what networking is and isn’t and develop strategies for how to leverage strategic relationships
• Set into motion an action plan to network strategically
• Learn how to maximize their Linked In profile and network with their connections to source potential job opportunities
• Brainstorm other creative strategies to source jobs beyond networking and LinkedIn

Speaker Bios:

Erica Rydzewski MBA’00 has been providing career consulting services for over 15 years. Erica has worked for two leading career management firms in the Boston area, a leading International relocation company, as well as in the Graduate and Undergraduate Centers for Career Development at Babson College. Erica also has a background in Organizational Development Consulting and is certified in Myers Briggs and Motivation Factor.

Debbie Tyson brings 15 years of experience working within the fields of education, consulting, human resources, and program management. She’s a Certified Professional Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.

Event Cost: $15, a portion of which goes to support the entrepreneurial leaders of tomorrow through the Fund for Babson.
