Babson College is pleased to announce a new program for students to get a first-hand experience of the Babson Blended Learning Track MBA through the offering of a graduate level learning course in healthcare strategy.  Successful completion of the course will allow students who subsequently enter the Babson Blended Learning MBA program 3 advanced standing credits.  To learn about eligibility to participate contact Karen Peters,

Week of 9/15: Registration Opens
October 6: Course begins—online session in the evening
October 6- December 7:  Online Collaboration and learning, estimated at 5-8 hours per week
October 25 & December 7: On-campus-classes, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
December 7: Course concludes

Course Description: Health Care Ecosystem: Competition and Strategic Choice
Throughout the Health Care Ecosystem: Competition and Strategic Choice course, you’ll explore the complex and rapidly changing healthcare ecosystem, its players and the dynamic economic, demographic and political factors that are driving this change.  You’ll explore the various components of this system and their roles, including patients; care providers; entities that pay for health care; entities that develop health care; and the government.  We’ll examine how these organizations work and how they are changing, and look at the challenges and opportunities for the system, and organizations within the system.
